Snippets of wisdom that resonate

What I enjoyed about this book is its efficient wisdom -- stripped of platitudes or self-admiring literary gymnastics, the authors impart wisdom in a simple, easily accessible way.
With short summary headings, the writings are assembled in a way that one can quickly read and digest truths that seem self-evident, yet at times are fresh insights that strike an inner chord of resonance.
Its as if the pupils are sharing nuggets of truth, which are then bookended by rich stories by spiritual Master Sri Chinmoy.

I enjoy reading this book. I say this because I refer to it when I need to and it actually pacifies my disposition on occasion. It's the type of life lessons I resort to often and can only hope to live by.
