The author writes with wonderful clarity and addresses the many aspects of yoga in short, yet informative form. It is based around asana sequencing and addresses everything that safe sequencing of asana requires, including safety and what is happening on a 'deeper than physical' level ( both of which many books overlook). There is also enough information to spark an interest in the pranayamas, mudras, chakras and other aspects of the practice of yoga, which get overlooked often in a novice's perception of contemporary yoga.

My kindle copy just cost $3.29, which is staggering value, for the quality of the information within, and the inspiration that it offers. I hope that an attractive price like this, helps to spread yoga deeper into the community.

An excellent collection of sequences in the Ashtanga tradition, but infused with Yamini's wisdom.
The introductory sections are a good short introduction to the principles of Yoga. What follows is an outstanding collection of special purpose sequences of asanas.
There are sequences for special purposes like:
Overcome addiction
Suppress Agitation
Manage Anger
Increase focus and concentration
etc.
The photography is fantastic.
I found the book extremely helpful in my practice.
